The Feast of May
Every May 1st, the residents of Haut-de-Cagnes compose floral creations made from carnations, to honour an old Mediterranean tradition of celebrating spring.
Parents decorate the childrens’bikes for a floral parade on the Place du Château.
The Feast of Saint Lucie
Every year in December, the Swedish community of Haut-de-Cagnes celebrates the feast of Saint Lucie, a historic tradition with its procession of people dressed in white, singing and carrying a candle.
At the end of the religious celebration, a snack is offered to all by our association, Le Cercle des Amis and the municipality of Cagnes-sur-Mer.
